OR Talk to your local bank they will most likely have a credit builder program where you can borrow a small amount like a grand or 3. and you put that in there CD or money market account and you pay the difference in interest like 10 bucks a month.Good credit takes a few years.

Perhaps they can help facilitate the money raising, a developer figure out the lot divisions, and another builder to start converting some of the older buildings, the soon to be abandoned school, into housing.What other suggestions are out there?

Godaddy is cheaper but you have to build it yourself (they have a website builder that is pretty decent).

If you show initiative and then follow through, most GCs will be happy to have someone help them out in exchange for knowledge.For my first new construction build, I simply hired an experienced builder and financed the project.

I was onsite nearly everyday, because I wanted to learn as much as possible about: 1 – The building process in USA.2 – Building methods in Texas.3 – General relationship between building companies and their clients – which was horrendous by the way.4 – General relationship between the builder and the general contractors.5 – The buying process and dealing with mortgage companies and banks.I learned a lot from this process, but I also recognize that building and buying your own home and investing in other properties is completely different story.I’m here to learn, make friends and hopefully some deals.My plan is to start flipping homes first.
