The biggest negative I can usually think of for Albany is that the taxes are high in relation to the assessed values (100k assessed value usually means about 5-6k in property taxes).

One of my biggest worries as a contractor is gettig involved with a previous house with radiant flooring because during removal of the flooring the demo guys can hit a line and cause water damage.

By signing the SSA, you are agreeing not only to a short sale but also to a deedâ€inâ€lieu of foreclosure if a short sale is not successful - This is a huge gotcha and the biggest reason why I would not sign or enter into a HAFA agreement!
