Hi @Scott TeramotoPhoenix has been on fire the last few years and decent multifamily properties tend to go pretty quickly.

I checked the law and I would conform to the fire code for a top floor unit.

I'm surprised the attic is shared as I'd think there would be a fire block in place.

They found a bunch of issues with the home, after the electrical fire they had to require the home, major plumbing and structural issues were found!

I want to fire that guy right now and he isn't even mine.

“Overcorrected” from being stationed overseas in small home for 3 years and bought the big house with a pool in Southeastern US 2 years ago (I just started listening/reading about FIRE and real estate investing ~6 months ago…wish I had done that sooner).

Upon growing up, I got to visit Sydney multiple times, and it sparked the fire in me to see the world.

Does that second floor window require a fire ladder installed permanently, or can one be provided as a stand-alone unit?
