This year, we won't be away for the entire summer, so I estimate we'll earn about $12-14K from AirBnB (house rents for about $400/night).In hindsight, we bought too expensive of a home, and the problem I'm trying to solve is that I HATE having a $6K mortgage payment....but we LOVE the house and the neighborhood.Options I see:1.

Our goal is for me to buyout my siblings and to own the house myself while maintaining as much of the prop 13 tax basis as possible. 

Just to play devil’s advocate, many people on here say to keep as much of your own as money possible.

Is it possible to have equalizing different assets going to your siblings? 

I would ask what criteria they used for screening and get tenant permission for them to share all of that with you if possible. 

I once bought an REO property that had set empty for a long time and there was water in the basement and thus a LOT of mold in the entire basement.

Looking into getting into a beach condo possibly in the Florida panhandle.
