Good Friday afternoon everyone! I have been on this website for a long time and it’s embarrassing to say that I have had life/ analysis paralysis for many years now. However, my financial situation is looking upwards from how it was in the past and I feel excited and ready to get serious about starting to invest. My initial thought is to house hack here in Jacksonville,FL but also open to other ways to invest and I would like to create financial and time freedom. I do love real estate as well and have loved it for a very long time. Thank you all for your time and look forward to meeting new people.

@Julia Geiger

Welcome and congratulations on your decision to take steps toward real estate investing! It's never too late to start, and the fact that you're feeling excited and ready is a great sign. House hacking can be an excellent strategy, especially for creating financial and time freedom. Here are some steps to consider as you embark on your real estate investment journey:

Educate Yourself
Set Clear Goals
Financial Assessment
Market Research
Connect with local real estate investors, attend meetups, and join online forums to expand your network.
Financing Options
Analyze potential properties for house hacking.
Assemble a team of professionals, including a real estate agent, mortgage broker, and possibly a property manager.
Start Small

Note that starting something new is frequently the most difficult aspect, and experience is a good teacher. Remain dedicated to your objectives, have an open mind, and take advantage of the resources offered by the real estate industry.

I hope your real estate investing endeavors are fruitful!
