Its hard to look past the the total cost of a 30 year and just focus on cash flow and scaling out.

Im 19 approaching purchasing my first house hack (duplex) to begin investing and trying to scale my portfolio.

I think it's picked up steam on the forums as Brandon Turner and David Greene have used it to scale their portfolios (certainly since David's BRRRR book) and asset prices continue to inflate. 

Have you figured out how to scale?

It's certainly something I would be interested in now, and especially as I scale my business.

You have more luck looking for a QI service that has more demonstrated experience and can offer you economies of scale as well. 

I just finished Craig Curelop's House-Hacking book and on the profitability/comfort scale I'm probably a traditional house-hacking type (leaning more comfort), meaning I want my own place but don't mind sharing a wall with another unit or two.

Quite a few people on here push for only investing in 'B class' and I'm sure the statistics support that on a large scale.

Get a range estimate--from bare minimum/rental ready to full-scale remodel.
