It's almost like a credit card that becomes a mortgage.

What I would say is that it is important to get a credit card because loans from banks will require you to have some type of credit and a job for at least 2 years ( Thats what Bank of America told me).

Or rack up some credit card debt for a few months and pay the minimum payments... 

I hit up Lowe's during the big holiday sales and pick up a 10% off coupon and use discounted gift cards that I buy as well as purchasing them online through Ebates. 

I suggest you leave your credit card in your pocket and talk to the many people who will be sitting and standing near you.

Here's why:  In order to complete a repair, the home warranty company must be contacted with the home warranty number and the owner's credit card information.
