Seems this can be considered more of a preventative maintenance type of measure than a necessary thing at the moment.I also had the PM reach out to the contractor to requote with the option of just going with replacing the entire furnace itself and it looks like that may be viable as well as the cost was near the cost of replacing the damper like ~$4500.

It was hard to reach anyone quickly so I had one technician from Roto-Rooter Plumbing who told me the problem was a clogged drain near the septic.

The cap would prevent the assessed value from increasing more than 10% from the previous year’s assessed value and would remain year over year providing no change in ownership, etc.

How can one prevent issues from lead?

Once out, I would turn them over to collections and prevent them from buying a home. 

But I wouldn’t let slightly negative cash flow prevent you from tapping into $100k in equity to buy a better deal.

I understand the concern for flooding in certain areas, but I know that many municipalities are concerned as well and have plans to mitigate or prevent issues with this.

Furthermore, the child must have provided a level of care during this timeframe that prevented the aging parent from requiring nursing home care.
