I believe they are a Peer to Peer platform. 

At least until your portfolio grows big enough that you'll need to invest in more sophisticated property management platforms.

I don't want to apply property value, because I'd first like to build a platform that relies on incomes that aren't so volatile.

However, I am concerned about the penalties that may be imposed against me.The law in NJ requires that the owner pay up to six times the amount of rent that was charged an occupant of an illegal apartment BUT ONLY IF the town cites the owner of the houses which then stems the eviction proceeding.
