I have been told by several agents in Pennsylvania (where I live) that you have to hang your license with a broker (I'm not sure if this is a PA requirement or pretty standard nationally).

I'll be hanging out from 4 until 7 on Tuesday, July 18th.

@Andrew Clifton That sounds an awful lot like practicing real estate, and that requires a license and a brokerage that will let you hang it there.

Hello,I'm enrolling in a PA RE licensing course and I am looking for advice or recommendations on good brokers in the Pittsburgh area to hang my license with.

I was going to hang in there, but then I got a call from a guest, that had come the night before, who told me that she couldn't stay there, because the lighting wasn't bright enough for her to put on her make-up and that she found a piece of trash under the sofa and why I wouldn't check the place before I let guests in. 

We received quotes for both the drywall hanging and taping and also for the furnace. 47 sheets of drywall hung and taped was $1200 through someone we knew.

A pegboard is not much different then hanging shelves, pictures, etc on the wall. 

Yes, 99% chance this is a bad idea...One thing you said strike me as really odd is that everyone you know has family assistance.... then you are probably hanging around the wrong crowd.... everyone that I know do not have family assistance.... seriously....Plus someone that succeeds on his/her own have the tendency to resent people who would ask for help becasue that is not how they made their money , and so they don't believe in it...

Don't be 'that guy' that does bandit signs everywhere and pisses everyone off giving our industry a bad name lolIf you insist on local data, go hang out at your *local* REIA and chat with people there.

You'll probably end up in the same "did not go as planned" situation if you decide to hang a shingle and start a property management company tomorrow.
