What are good characteristics that makes them look attractive?

I would not anticipate much turnover so could be good cash flow over the long run, the question is the long-term appreciation… depends on your strategy and weather you’d be managing themselves or relying on unknown local property manager, contractors, etc.

I got an email a few days ago from them about some really good mortgage terms.I was wondering what those new builds can rent for in these areas.Thanks in advance

They tend to attract big companies, hospitable systems, cool downtowns with good restaurants, lots of events, and are usually a 1-2 hour drive from a major metro and airport.

Are you looking more long term profit through appreciation?

Went big (5BR) and spent more than we wanted but so far so good (on track to be close to breakeven after 1 year).

I'm talking to a few about eventually looking at long term rentals as the STR market seems to be pricing the locals out of the buying market.  

I feel like it may be good to also establish a relationship with a lender to streamline future projects. 

Also, below are some ideas I've had.It seems to make sense to start with a list of people in my ideal area that have owned land for a long time and are not actively using it.
