STR Investing in Aruba

Angela Kiser
Posted

We are looking to start a rental investment business and we're currently doing all of the reading and learning that we can get our hands on. Our first property will most likely be an STR in Aruba. Could anyone give me any estimates of expenses and cash flow based on experience? I'd also love any tips on going into this endeavor. My eta is to have a team within 6 months and purchase my first property within a year.

Hi Angela,

My husband and I absolutely love Aruba and have been scouting places there ourselves. I have other STRs in FL and CO but none overseas as it scares me to be so far away. What I've done for our quest outside the USA is to find the best local real estate agent in the area I'm looking in. By best, I mean someone who works with out of country investors, knows the area extremely well and is well connected to local people - property managers, plumbers, handyman, etc.

I'd love to connect and here how your search goes!
