Well, I have been presented some 12+ acre lots about 2 miles outside of town, but within 3 miles of Walmart, shopping, and eating places (maybe a 5 minute drive as the main road these properties would be on is empty).  

But I’d rather leave it empty than…..

There is an empty building and the owner said he would build it out if we signed a 5-year lease, but it has absolutely NO parking. 

Fannie Mae wants to know that you can cover several properties being empty at the same time if they are going to lend you more money.  

A vacant retail unit can take a couple of weeks if all the stars align, but more likely will take months and can sit empty for years. 

Typically these facilities have been sitting empty for a very long time, and they are excited about some one coming in and fixing them up.

I'm not sure where Jose is, but in WI, if you're refusing to work over 8 hours in the concrete business during summer, you're less useful to the company than an empty truck.

It sat empty and not used for 10 years. 

However this was probably left empty since 2021 or 2022, at least half a year with one of the window cracked open. 

My wife and I have parents that are empty nesters and do have room for our family so renting wouldn't need to be necessary If we decided to live with them.
