I went back and forth on them with this and finally asked if they had another color, they did matte black I said ok let me think about it and the designer said " put whatever you do no brushed nickel" I went with antique brass.

@Samir Khosla Did you end up getting some more clarity on the issue? 

It came back on the market again, I submitted another offer and got the property!

They can be really helpful, but in the end they make money from commission.
