I am thrilled to have found such an amazing network to learn from and contribute to.

The market is fairly high right now (not just CA, but most other RE markets too) and frankly I'd be amazed if we don't see a correction or at least a softening within the next couple of years.

I am born and raised in NYC and while it's an amazing  place to grow up, it's not exactly ideal for small investors like myself.

(Bought the house and made a 20k flip profit)Public records are amazing: if you locate the area where the seller lives, make sure you look them up in their counties property appraiser, and clerk of court/register of deeds.

The last three days have been spent clicking around the site trying to wrap my head around all of the amazing features and today I decided for sure that I want to thoroughly involve myself with Bigger Pockets so I took the dive head-first. 

I've already had a chance to meet some cool folks who are talking about their experiences and I can share mine: amazing!

I am so glad to be here, big thanks to BiggerPockets to provide this amazing community for all of us who are starting.
