Hello -I'm a new venture into the real estate space, so please bear with me through my initial learning and ignorance. 

I have suggested to him the following: over the next year, using the 600k cash, buy 2 houses in Chicago, 2 more houses in Philadelphia, and perhaps 1 house in Indianapolis through turnkey companies.

My mother just bought a duplex last year in Chicago with a tenant already living there.

So, the company I work for last year purchased about 300 homes in Chicago & Chicagoland Area.

29 years old originally from outside Chicago, IL (da Bulls), been in FL now for 17 years and LOVE IT! 

I am originally from chicago and every house I lived in had gutters...I found that odd, my agent said he hates gutters.

I was studying Chicago area, but still did not decide what is the best for me.

Can anyone recommend a good long term take out financing option for us to pay off our bridge financing and hold real estate as rentals in Chicago?  

@Mary Wilson  nope just a silly rule that has less and less bearing on todays market.
