That being said, the main things I’m considering are: 1) finding a personal residence near Austin, and 2) start off building a rental property portfolio in the surrounding areas.

Also, because this was a nicer rental home with premium rent prices, I had a drone video made of the surrounding village area and how my home fits in.

I have heard good things about the metro and surrounding areas of Memphis, TN; Clarksville TN; Dallas TX; and a few others, but from what I have been able to see so far it looks like the readily-apparent deals are drying up.

So I understand Seattle is landlord "unfriendly" - how are the surrounding cities in King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties?

(The Wall Street Journal, in the last 12 months, has had articles, that real estate in Florida, which is a goodly number of feet, above sea-level, is now selling for high prices, & intended to be built on, by the wealthy, as refuge from the rising expected ocean, which surrounds Florida.)
