Another big problem with Detroit is all sorts of unscrupulous "turn-key" companies and others, preying on unsuspecting foreign investors who have no idea what they are getting into.

So far i have called the previous landlords, called current/former employers to validate salary and years of service. obtained a credit and background check, had them fill out an application.Are there any key things I am missing?

Yes I plan to make this my career so planning ahead is key.

They are getting keys day after I close (tomorrow) and have paid up until August.  

@Abhi Jain  if your already this nervous  then you should probably go with your gut instinct so you don't worry yourself.. there are literally hundreds of turn key providers in the US.. you may want to do a little more shopping and research before you hone in on one company..
