That is true to an extent but there is a ton of work to get to that point in the process.

Your ITIN may be expiring and you should begin the renewal process now if you will have a filing requirement next year, for tax year ending December 31, 2018.

If you win the bid, or sometimes even if you're the high bidder with a little time to go, they'll call you to go over the process. 

At the same time as this was happening, I was actually in the process of changing majors in college (I'm a junior at JMU in Virginia,) and had dropped a few courses, so I felt I had some time to commit to the endeavor until my next semester starts.

I've a couple questions:1) Is this how the process works for correcting existing addition to the house?

I am in the process of buying another house which I plan on moving into some time in January 2019 and make that my primary residence.

I'm not sure if he will be keeping it in house or if he has a different work-around but he's saying he can offer 75% LTV and we could complete the refi process by December.  

Working with someone buying one is a certain amount of work, but once you train a buyer on the process, it runs pretty smoothly and there are a lot fewer items to cover on the second and third, etc.
