Columbus, OH house flip permits

Does anyone have experience with obtaining permits for a house flip in Columbus? I have a contractor that I paid to obtain the permits for a small house on the south side, but we have been waiting for a couple months and have been told there are a lot of delays for all contractors right now.

 No, it shouldn't take months for a building permit. Call the city yourself. You can also look online for columbus and see if there has even been an application submitted. normally the city gets back to the contractor or architect and they forget to take some small action that needs to be taken to get the building permit approved. what I will say is i'm doing a new construction and it's taken at least a few months, but for a small renovation it should be much quicker than a few months.
