I'd still recommend evaluating each property to make sure the return fits YOUR comfort level, but I'm pretty sure Bridge is aware of what their clients want.

Not sure how well a try-level fits those demographics.

Just don't be quick to give up on REI all together as there might be something that will be the right fit. 

I recommend that you call a few, check their rates, and find one that is a good fit for your family.

Plus you'd still have to manage a employee vs doing almost nothing with a prop mgmt company (in theory, assuming the prop mgmt and you are good fit).

Also, there's a company called Good Fit that designs small cottages.
