I have a potential foreclosure case where the home is scheduled for auction in 5-days.  

I may be on a different thought process than you, but why would you want the handyman that couldn't schedule an appointment but now is available with less than 24 hour notice during the day time no less, when ideally he'd be busy?

I haven't borrowed from a bank in a while, so I wasn't sure what to expect.The bank noted my schedule of real estate owned, and didn't treat it any differently than if it was conventionally financed.  

You can be frustrated but not mad because your schedule changed and these guys will continue to take other work, can't blame them. 

(Thank God)  While preparing for us to move back in as the primary residents, we scheduled to have the floors of the entire home redone with wood. 

Also, it is possible to snatch a deal off of MLS, Zillow, Redfin, etc. ... it is just that any good deal on those sites won't last long, and you need to jump in fast and aggressive (but with discipline) as suggested.

I've scheduled a vent cleaning company to come out and try to clean the vents and the furnace in the event the animals urinated in the duct work.

This app can also control the pool lights, jets, and allow you to set up schedules to turn things on and off at certain times, etc.     

I didn't know this until way later and ended up having to schedule someone to open the door for every showing.
