In 2020 when the world flipped over i gave wholesale a try by hiring VA and spending around 20K failing to launch a wholesale operations.The operation didn't make any sales mainly because I didn't have time to work the business and because I didn't have a follow up system at all to track and follow up with the leads.

Wish to invest in my 1st multifamily, and goals are:1) to use my va loan as a veteran to purchase my 1st multifamily rental property2) Plan to buy 1st property for rental income and equity appreciation, then purchase 2nd property a year later 3) To figure out if I should start with properties in not so good areas of Pennsylvania like allentown , Connecticut like bridgeport, hartford, waterbury and if I do what should i be looking into before I buy anything 4) Minimize and avoid top mistakes newbie multifamily investors make 5) make list of questions I should be asking before purchasing anything

Definitely take advantage of having two W2 incomes right now to buy properties and be sure to each use your VA loans once or multiple times if it fits with your goals.Just know that if you are serious about building a real estate portfolio, you will eventually get to the point where you can separate from the Military if you choose and go full-time in real estate.
