I go downtown 4-5 times a week (to my gym, Fit, across from Petco Park), and live in Mission Hills about 5 min from downtown. 

Im in the process of locking up a property for a client in Oakland Hills. 

@Keith Hill we just went got the "shelter in place order".

Even SF  probably not like it was when I worked in SF in the 70's and 80's there was public housing in many areas , Of course not to the extent of Singapore.. you had public housing in most neighborhoods from McClaren park over through Hunters point ,, then up on Potrero hill some of the buildings were also over by China town. etc. 

If you want to go a bit more upscale (better tenants but houses cost more), you would go to Wallingford, Berlin, Southington, Cromwell, Rocky Hill, Plainville, Wethersfield, Newington.  

I also like that I can leave my work phone on silent or in another room and still have access to my friends.

How are these neighborhoods ( cockrell hill, garland, rowlett, princeton, little elm, the colony ) ? 

Mostly I see this in  Carrollton, but also saw one in North Richland Hills the other day, so can be anywhere. 

I also have investors that look into specific areas that are up and coming on the west side (College Hill, Westwood(Closest to west side brewery)) Finding a 3-4 bedroom between $100k-$150k is very possible over there.

Have been researching areas like Homestead, Munhall, Swissvale, Braddock, Rankin, some on north side like Bellevue, Avalon, also Millvale, Etna or in the other direction, Penn Hills.
