Hey BP family, Question of the day is how much is a good assignment fee for a commercial or multi unit property?

A lender on a house just contacted us for redemption figures and the amount we would ask to assign the lien.

I've done a lot of assignment of contract wholesale deals using a contract that includes an "inspection clause" that allows the buyer to cancel the agreement basically for any reason during the inspection period. 

First assignment for us was to find three terms we are not familiar with and define them personally.

If you're planning on assigning the contract it's important that the lender understand that it's an assignment which includes assignment fees.

You will have to assign new leases, and tenants have to have utilities changed, but they would have had to do that anyway.

Do I need to assign a representative, if so should they be a legal professional? 

I have a standard purchase and sale agreement, assignment contract and have now typed up a termination agreement and I'm going to have my lawyer review all three to make sure that they are binding.
