LLC - Pay an attorney or setup myself? (Omaha, Nebraska)

Are there any advantages of using an attorney when setting up an LLC for a rental property in Nebraska? My attorney charges close to $1,000 to form an LLC and I know I can do it on my own for much less. What are the advantages and disadvantages? Do I need to assign a representative, if so should they be a legal professional?

Also: I have a partner in the purchase who will NOT be under the LLC and will be partnering in the purchase under their name.

Thanks!

You can get on the Secretary of States web page and it lays it all out for you. Took me 30 minutes and a small amount of money. I'll save my attorney money for when I really need it.
