Looks like might not be great as a straight-up investment, but if you need a home for yourself and the price is right, why not buy this place you like?

I am licensed in NY and CT so I was going to go to CT and buy a number of single families or a multifamily building but I am indecisive on whether I should go to CT or Jersey...or both.

If you go super cheap and buy one of those recently flipped 40K duplexes,well that headache is on you.

I have been actively buying single family value add rental properties in Ohio for the past 2 years.

Will these folks prefer to buy suburban or rural homes, or will they want to rent and eventually buy within the city?

I think it depends on the uniqueness of the house and neighborhood....if there isn't comps to support it...you are solely banking on someone buying ONLY because of FLW.I would surely get some second opinions no matter what@Peter Martinson
