When you see sales, stock up. 

I love real estate for that reason and its alot better than DeLorean stock or Enron stock : ) People skills are critical in this business or being able to outsource to folks that have the skills. 

In the summer, Wal-Mart (24 hours a day) usually has some in stock; I'm not sure if they stock them all year, though.You do have to clean the filters on them.  

I even thought about using it to build a penny stock portfolio there are probably different forums for that somewhere but yeah, what are you going to do with 500 bucks.

Understanding how the markets work, supply and demand, trends, government impact on markets, and being able to predict patterns will help you a ton.

However, they usually only did as well as the stock market was doing, so I decided to take control and be responsible for my own money.
