advice needed, please help!

Posted

I am 18 and just graduated high school in June. I have free college and my parents are shoving it down my throat I should take it because it's free. I am really interested in real estate investing and have been listening to bigger pockets podcast everyday since I graduated. I want to be a real estate investor but my whole family is putting me down saying it is just not possible right now and making me go to college since it is free and I have nothing better to do. I would really appreciate if someone gave me some areas to study in college that would go hand to hand with real estate or some advice on what to do. I would really appreciate you taking the time out of your day to do so.

@Israel Gabriel Martinez take advantage of the free college while you can and continue to learn about real estate investing. Many schools even have real estate classes that qualify to get your real estate license. Take business and finance classes. Also consider working for a property manager during the summers to help learn the field. Lots of ways to make college help you become a great investor!
