Their medical bills suck up all their money, and they refuse to get any government help.  

I am not heavily involved in that aspect of real estate, but I will chime in with my 2 cents.I am very bearish on commercial office, as it is my opinion that the internet is going to continue to eat away at commercial office space.I think supermarket-anchored community centers, medical, and restaurant (the type that Realty Income invests in - with fast food tenants) are the commercial properties that make sense to me.

I *think* that everyone would like to keep the property in the family, but no one has been able to figure out how to afford that.The details:5/2 house built in the early 60's, on 1 acre in the University-Medical area, zoned R2A.

Ideally she needs an android or ios app with cloud sync to desktop that would allow her to enter her daily expenses and also register contacts, appointments, register by value potentials, register confirmed deals with expected pay out dates and therefore be able to run reports and track her expected payouts against the dreaded known expenses (rent, mortgage, medical etc).

If you get an ulcer from concern about being over leveraged, BP isn't going to pay your medical bills :-)My personal experience is that now with 30+ units I'm in a scenario where there is "always income" AND "always something going wrong". 

We have created a business where we provide housing for medical residents.

I would add that even in some of the documentation that says there are little negative medical impact-there is a sentiment of not exposing children to it (a sort of why risk it).
