Some clients prefer local, but most folks I have interacted with are totally comfortable in a remote working environment.

Our advice here is mostly hypothetical, as insurance is incredibly subjective, and we could be missing pertinent information.Just to clarify- any damage to the property that results in a claim- regardless of fault or whose insurance the claim was filed- will show up on the history of the home, which may still affect premiums.

But, if they are to stay with the property I would do some work to justify it to them.Dewayne - I completely understand and agree that a paying tenant is almost always best and with today's environment it may be difficult to get new tenants.

That is unless you did something incredibly stupid and waived financing and inspection contingencies.
