If you can possibly cajole them into you finding out their legal identities first, before you give them the applications and the lease to sigh, it would be a good idea.

Which is too cheap imho but I'm locked into this lease until May 2021.I think I can get $1200 for the second floor of Unit 2 which is almost identical to the first unit, after some small renovations.And I will be living on the third floor, hopefully, rent free (PITI is $1959)

The building was purchased 2 years ago for $1.1M, the group put probably $250k into it, (which doesn't necessarily all benefit our concept), and now we're close to closing and just want some verification on this deal or not.

Both units are pretty much identical to each other in terms of square feet, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, however, with just a few main differences such as:1) The lower unit has one window less than the upper unit in the back of condo due to the stairs from the upper deck down to the ground level so that stairs end up preventing the possibility for a window in that wall on the left side in the back of the lower unit. 2) The upper unit has a structure on the roof that is considered as a den room and it has a nice view of monument and Capitol Hill.
