Their choices are:Don't allow the pets to continue to do these things.Get rid of the pets.Get out of the house.Personally, I am not a fan of pets in my homes, but approx 60% of americans have pets and only 40% of rentals are pet friendly.

If I change a ceiling fan or a light in the ceiling, the screws and metal box are so hot I can barely touch it.Aside from ripping out all the ceiling and putting in insulation, is there a way to vent the hot air out?

boiler heating is one of the most efficient when it comes to heatingit may need new controls on the baseboards or thermos statsin PA I'm not sure if you need AC ceiling fans my be the way to go especially since it is a older buildingto do a complete change your looking at the neighborhood of 25-35kfind your self a old boiler guy and have him/her go through the system to make sure all the zones are working properly and have them service the boiler since it probably has not been done in yearsenjoy
