Do you have any advice on buying multifamily properties and how to set a purchase price when there are often not enough comps in the area to help make a determination?

In other words, what experience/skill set do you bring to the table to make your expertise necessary?

If you find someone that is looking to offload a property, you can possibly set it up as a lease deal with the option to sublet it to someone else. 

We had people from all over the country mobilized and setting up shop. 

Yes, he does not want to pay rent, so you give him 30 days rent credit through the sell of the house agreement, but set the rent rate high, maybe double normal rent. 

Call the realtors that have those listings and set up showing appointments to see their listings.

Only you can set your goals.

Having said all that, I do think office space can be a good investment if you get a good price and it's in a good location.Certain businesses will probably always need a professional setting that is not their home to meet with clients.
