As you might know, being a developer, I have a hard time interacting with people sometimes.

It's nice to be able to interact directly with people rather then just hearing or reading about stories.

Interacting face to face will help tremendously with forming those critical relationships to aid your progress.

That will put a drag on rents as it takes away some of the interactivity of living in a place.
