The property is in a good location (highly student rentable), 3/2 1400 sqft, 1956 built, double carport.

I am a student at Drexel for a second bachelor degree in physics.

Union Square has some beautiful homes and blocks that house some UMBC students but those homes are surrounded by blocks that aren't there yet.

Hey Guys,I'm currently a college student with massive loans.I also just got a job that pays around $775/month.Would it be a good idea to spend ~$500/month $140,000 4BR house? 

(As you leave the main gate going east on California, turn left at the QFC and head north on Broadway a couple of miles to the college district.)I'd be looking for student housing, especially multi-bedroom properties that can be "house hacked" with a master tenant who pays top dollar and sub-rents out bedrooms and keeps order, so that (s)he gets free rent, maybe with a little extra.

We purchased in an area with a really good rental market - lots of students in the area.  

I see an opportunity to turn it into student housing as there is a similar house next door to the property that is now student housing.
