It had beautiful built-ins that I wanted to keep but the sink area was a disaster:It did have a cool vintage backsplash which we salvaged.We built this so it would match the rest of the kitchen and also accommodate some modern conveniencesThese built-ins are the reason I didn't want to gut the kitchen:My favorite thing about this kitchen is the mint green vintage stove.

I saw this guy (Custom Made Signs by Crown) rolling with a bunch of refrigerator magnets on the back and it says "TAKE ONE" ~ very cool idea....

Worst case scenario just hold your cool and tell her if anybody ever changes their mind that your offer stands.
