I ask for referrals and make sure I do some background check on the referrals and/or past customers/clients.

My background is in heavy commercial and industrial construction management, particularly in the area of project controls (cost and schedule). 

Get the leases during the DD phase, and send them over to your pm, have him do background checks, and then have him meet with the home inspector on site. 

So I want to transition to multifamily CRE, starting small and eventually working towards larger deals.I've been enjoying the BP podcasts featuring veteran investors of all backgrounds, and I'm excited to start connecting with everyone, especially in the multifamily forums and hopefully with some local investors in the Charlotte area.

He will [already has begun] find possible properties and scope out the neighborhoods to make sure they are not "sketchy" and place the bids.I work at the construction dept of a large hospital and have a friend who is a seasoned project manager with a background in building new commercial properties.  

It is nice to hear from someone with a similar background and experiences!

Electrician background and real estate agent are great assets to bring to your buy and hold adventure.

I don't have background on financing and buying/selling, I am self educating myself to have a good knowledge on that.

Suggest you introduce yourself a little better so that we know your background and level of experience.

Will I get only the background check information, criminal history and evictions?
