Eager and Ready to Learn

Hi All,

My name is Ryan Holy and I live in the Grand Rapids, MI area.  My background is in heavy commercial and industrial construction management, particularly in the area of project controls (cost and schedule). I've had a deep desire to invest in real estate in some way, shape or form; but I've always let the fear of losing keep me from doing anything about it. After stumbling across the Bigger Pockets podcast, I now have a renewed motivation to learn and take steps toward making that desire a reality. So far, I find myself most interested in buy and hold, with flipping running at a close second.

I look forward to learning from everyone in the BP community. If anyone has any book suggestions for newb's, aside from UBG, please let me know. Financing for RE investor's is something I'm particularly interested in understanding.

Thanks for taking the time to read my introduction!
