Check your recorder of deeds site for info on properties.Also, verify proper notice was given to lien holdersother than 1st. if there are any if, not the sale can be declared voidby other lien holders if they can prove they were not notifiedof the sale.Set a max dollar amount on each bid and stick by it.

@Kent Caldwell Welcome to BP@Ali Boone I disagree about Chattanooga,  I think it will cash flow as long as you don't over pay and you properly analyze the deals, cant speak for the other areas but I have been doing just fine in Chattanooga.

I like the area for a few reasons: The people that live there seem to be solid working class folk with a strong sense of communnity, access to the Parkway is easy,  every store you could possibly need is on Rte 35, the schools seem good, and it's probably an amazing place to live in the summer.Does anyone have experience investing here or have any insight they would be willing to share?
