The economy is still rough, and I hope you'll be able to find a good job soon.In the meantime, I suggest you keep educating yourself as much as you can so you'll be able to jump into good deals when the opportunity presents itself.Have you considered visiting some local REI clubs to network with other local investors (outside of BP, of course)?

And it's to do the following upgrade:1. install a six-pack meter box,each MAIN breaker under each unit's meter will be a 60 amp breaker, twice the power presently provided to each apartment. 300 amp copper wire pulled through conduit and connected to meter box2.install 100 amp OUTDOOR panel on the side of each unit (currently the fuses are inside the closets). 60 amp wire run through crawl space and 1"PVC conduit buried 18" deep between each unit, provide 60 amp of power to each new panel on each apartmentChris, I guess you are happy you don't live in CA!
