There are several cabin options that are much cheaper because they are manufactured homes.

Many of these areas are heavily dependent on manufacturing. 

I've started the process of contacting the credit bureaus with their instructions but have not had much success with getting those inquiries removed yet.  

Delays are normal on a construction project , subs are busy , suppliers are waiting on manufacturers , inspectors are a week behind , change order wasnt signed , etc . 

I feel that Indianapolis has much more economic diversity - tech companies, pharmaceutical/medical, several colleges, manufacturing, distribution centers, hospitality/convention centers -- so we are not as affected if one particular industry takes a dive.Our real estate areas are also very diverse.  

If you could send me the name of the manufacturer that'd be great, so I make sure the same thing doesn't happen on any of my projects.   

Suggest you speak with a real estate attorny in that state ASAP to avoid treble damages or worse.You should report the PMC to their state Board of Realtors and the Attorney General.If you have all your instructions in writing AND it is not overriden by the management contract you signed, you may have a case against the PMC.

In your notice, you should request copies of current and complete Rental Agreements immediately, and instruct the PM not to fill any vacancies or renew any agreements between now and the date of termination.

Hello I was looking into putting manufactured homes on lots in The Colony, Texas 75056.

It's not as hard to do remotely as one would think -- you really only need tenants that are compliant enough to follow your rent payment instructions (sorry, no cash) and a maintenance guy on the ground who you can send for calls.
