If you're looking at the image in Google Earth, it should have an "Imagery Date" along the bottom like in this photo:Another cool feature that Google offers is the ability to go back and pick a point in time and view an image from that date and see how an area has changed over time.

This 1940's house has no attic space (very little) because they created those cool attic bedrooms upstairs, so there is really no great space for a unit or ducking.
