Nope, not true.Your contractor gets $5,000 to pay their overhead expenses (which includes salary) and make a reasonable profit.

They were super expensive with lots of amenities but all are high rises and absolutely zero privacy.My places are townhouses, multiple desirable amenities, in nice locations...and, frankly, not many similar units available.

So excited to have my first property and I plan to hold for the long term.

Hi, I would definitely plan a trip to come to Ohio for a real estate investment.

Mail is expensive and you will have to outlay a lot of mail and money before getting a deal which might take several months to close (or you can get lucky too).

if you plan to use it as a 2nd home as well as lease it out, conventional loan will allow you to just put 10% down. 

Therefore, it is very likely you will have to depreciate the expenses over a set period of time.

We are definately planning at refinancing as the next step but need to resolve the partnership before that.
