I've seen a guy on social media promoting the idea of buying homes in Dayton, Ohio (in good areas) and renting them to folks who qualify for Section 8.

I always like James answer because he's always trying to help people to understand rather than promoting its city because he/she lives there :)if you want to see what's good in any city join Norada mailing-list , they can tell what's good from investing in Sacramento 'til Cleveland,OH as they have rental to sell all over the place lol

I see the online guys saying 'Virtual Wholesaling' and promoting their 'programs' or 'groups' but I just don't believe that those things are the end-all-be-all.

I cannot imagine many scenarios in which an owner would be enticed to sell sub 2, or even need a short sale in this market.I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
