It may not have ever been brought to the accessors attention that there were any additions/improvements on the land, or at least in there current state (vast extent) and you could be ahead as far as taxes go, which sounds like me looking for the silver lining here as I can only imagine what insurance would be on a property of this size.

I’m of the same mentality, I love the cash flow it’s brought and the quality of tenants has been phenomenal, I’ve been blessed thus far, but the thought of how much I can sell it for and instantly have more cash in hand has made it soo enticing!

Every legislative session, many proposals are being brought forward such as disallowing the use or credit scores and criminal checks(as this is clearly a form of discrimination), creating a state uniform application process, rent control, etc.
