I have invested with them and am also in the middle of a raise with them for one of my company's projects.

This seems like something that can easily be resolved without you getting involved in the middle of their drama.

If this doesn't work or you can't meet in the middle or are stretching, then move on, theirs other deals to be had and maybe in a months time hell come back to you.
