Niches lead to riches

And for the love of God, do not read only Rich Dad, Poor Dad.

After high school, I moved around a lot to satisfy my wanderlust, spent a lot of time in Oklahoma (in and around Tulsa) and eventually made it far enough west to settle in Northern Colorado.Like many people here, my REI journey began when I listened to the audiobook "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" while on a road trip in the early 2000s.

Real estate is the opposite of a get rich quick scheme....and it's more of a get rich slow thing so be patient, stay positive, and good things will happen.

(many more factors can go into play like: location, affordability of homes in your area, etc..)Two books I always recommend is Robert Kiyosaki (Rich Dad, Poor Dad) and Brandon Turner's book (Investing in Real Estate with No (and Low) Money Down) to get started with house hacking.

Certainly not going to make me rich but a nice single up the middle.

My two favorite books on changing mindset were: Rich Dad, Poor Dad and the Millionaire Next Door.

So long term is get rich REALLY slow.

I have read rich dad poor dad, etc. and am wondering, how to invest with the smallest amount of money down, whom to connect with regarding financing, etc. how to evaluate the property, whether it makes sense to file an LLc to be the owner of the property, etc.
