This looks like we would loose about 10-20k after everything is said and done. 2- Go to a bank and get long term 15-30 year financing at a cheaper interest rate?

However I meet a lot of people that didn't do their due diligence on the front end such as knowing how to structure contracts or having attorneys look over contracts with contractors or having dishonest contractors and paid them upfront (SMH) and have loosed tens of thousands of dollars and are back to square one.

Most of them have suspended in-person meetings during Covid, but have been meeting virtually on the same schedule (once or twice a month).Basically you try to identify people you'd like to know, or sometimes people who are at your level or maybe one step ahead, and have conversations with them on the phone, or in person over coffee (when/if you're comfortable with that), and then periodically check in with them to see how things are going, offer mutual support & advice, etc.I'd also recommend being loose and friendly with your networking, with the general goal of finding like-minded people to be friends with over the long term, rather than trying to find a "mentor".

Would recommend jumping on a deal you don't have to bet the farm on/loose your shirt if it goes south, but the best way to learn is by actually doing one.

Just among the crew that I go camping with here's what I've seen happen just in the past 2 years:Canopy on a hybrid trailer came loose and flew off in a storm3 different tire blowoutsfridge door flew open going down the road (latch broke), damaging the fridge, countertop, and food inside.
