I've driven for dollars, posted "We'll Buy Your House" ads on Craigslist and Facebook, mailed a list of people and only ran into a couple of people who wanted way more than their house is worth.

I have my one and only SFR rented out to this older couple since May of this year.

I haven't even put it up for rent yet and have already had a couple of inquiries, so it seems I will have no trouble getting it rented out.  

The story is this....the house has been abandoned for the past couple of months because the woman who lived there is older and moved in with her kids.

I just helped a couple get a fixer upper in Hiawatha and a bank owned property on the NE side in the last few weeks. 

I worked most Saturdays from 7-5 and many times a couple hours on Sundays. 

The owner got to view the property a couple weeks ago and they squatter is actually taking care of the property, like it's their own (according to him).

On the other hand 4 family Houses are more expensive than Single Family (specially in Brooklyn).

Unlike most newbie investors I'm all in and even been putting up bandit signs every weekend which I've been getting a couple of calls from them.
